The WWF Desert Challenge 2019 will journey through the /Ai/Ais Richtersveld Transfrontier Park that spans Namibia and South Africa.
This exclusive WWF trip is only available to 15 participants and reconnects them to nature while raising funds in support of WWF’s conservation work.

Uncover the beauty of the desert
You will navigate remote unexplored regions where WWF experts will uncover the wonders of the desert, from its unique ecology, archeology and astronomy to learning about the culture of the local Nama people.
Are you fit enough?
You will need to be physically fit and in good health to complete the Desert Challenge and given the all-clear by a medical professional. Our priority is to ensure you have a great time but your health is paramount to us.
The Desert Challenge is not a race and each participant can complete each leg at their own pace – but there are sections where one cannot turn back.
An experienced support team will be on-site, including a medical doctor, massage therapist, bike mechanic and guides.
